Favourite Thailand Finds

A few weeks ago I posted about my trip to Thailand and talked about the amazing time that I had there. Well now I thought I'd show you some of the amazing things I bought there. Seriously, if you didn't know it, Bangkok is one of the most amazing places to shop for clothing. This is only a very small percentage of what I bought there!!!
This gorgeous red vintage dress with the cutest collar. It has a a-line skirt when on!

Cute brown spotted dress.

Another red spotted beauty!

I love this dress. It has such a cute bright orange print and a really cute huge collar. I don't usually wear this colour or collars this big, but I love it and I have worn it many times already.

Cute brown floral vintage dress!

I love this dress! It has a really big circular skirt and I love the colours. It was designed and made by this cute Thai girl that she was selling at a market for a really good price!

Another cute brown dress with spots!

I love this bag!!!! I have a huge thing for bows and spots, and the colour is gorgeous too!

Another cute bag. In real life it's a bit more of a teal colour, not quite as blue.

Spots! Aargh!!

Cute bag with such a cute design. I loved the colour combo!

And yet another adorable bag.
I had such an awesome time shopping, and can't wait to go back!!!

Thailand!

You might remember from this post, I went to Thailand earlier this year. I went for a month and had the most amazing time of my life. Honestly. Here are some pictures I took during my awesome time there. I had a hard time selecting only a few photos from the large amount I took, so I hope you enjoy!

I spent lots and lots of time at the markets in Thailand. The shopping there is so amazing and so very cheap. I will share some of my favourite finds soon!

I also went and visited the Women's Prison in Chiang Mai. It was really interesting, but also kind of confronting. They also have a rehabilitation project for the prisoners where they run a cafe and a massage parlour, where we had iced tea and full body massages!

More markets!

Elephants are all over Thailand, and they are the most beautiful creatures! I got to ride and feed some of them while I was there!

We visited the floating village in Phuket which was very cool and had amazing seafood restaurants!!!

There's me browsing through vintage dresses at another market in Bangkok. I honestly bought so many dresses at the amazing markets.

There's me again in the distance, searching through vintage bags!!

The view I had for a week, whilst staying in Koh Samet.

If I hadn't already made myself clear, I loved it so very much. Have you ever been to Thailand or on any other trips you loved??

Packing For Thailand

You might remember from this post, that I told you that I was going to Thailand! I am going for a month, and am leaving on Saturday!! It's so close and I am so very excited but have lots to do. I also have a lot of packing to do, so I thought I'd show you what I plan on taking with me!!!

1. Vintage dresses - similar to these from Modcloth - one, two, three.

2. Vintage suitcase - I have a lovely vintage yellow suitcase that I'll be taking. Here's one almost identical to mine.

3. Music - every trip needs some good tunes to get you through long flights, train and bus rides, especially since they are so often riddled with unsettling noise.

4. Books - another must have for every trip. These are three that I'll definitely be carrying with me, as well as a few more!

5. Camera bag - my lovely camera bag from Jo Totes fits everything perfectly and is so cute.

6. Vintage bathing costume - I have this one from Modcloth which is the perfect addition to warm weather, beach and a pair of cute vintage sunnies.

7. Camera - my little camera will also be coming with me so that I can take lots of photos for you to see!!!

What would you take along with you???

Travel Wallet

A few months ago I bought this lovely travel wallet!!!

And now, I will finally get a chance to use it. Why....

I am so terribly excited!!! I am currently doing my research and asking everyone I know for advice. I will share all of the details closer to the date, but I seriously can't wait!!!!

If you have ever been to Thailand and have some tips for me, I'd love to hear em!

If You Could Travel Anywhere, Where Would You Choose?

My answer would be everywhere. I want to travel anywhere I can including: Sydney, Singapore, Japan, Vietnam, London, Paris, Moscow, Spain, Italy, Portugal, the Bahamas, Morocco, Italy & New York, just to name a few.

My desire to travel has recently be rekindled by the arrival of a book I bought online (oh my goodness, I love online shopping too much) called 'The Stylist’s Guide to NYC' by Sibella Court. I bought it merely liking the concept and not having much idea of what I would find when it finally arrived. But oh-my-goodness-me, it’s brilliant, to say the least. More than it being brilliant, wonderful, insightful and just-plain-gorgeous, it also makes me long to travel as much and as often as I possibly can.
Feel free to have a look at some of the wonderful pictures within, click here and if you feel like purchasing your own copy here is where I got mine. It has inspired me oh-so-much, I can't even begin to tell you.

Where would you like to travel to or have travelled to recently? Or perhaps you have found other wonderful travel books? If you care to share, I’d love to listen.
