First of February, Twenty Fifteen

(binge) watching: jane the virgin, how to get away with murder, and true detective.

eating: currently on day 21 of Whole30, so lots and lots of veggies and homemade meals. I'm loving eating so much fresh food, and being more conscientious about what I eat and how it affects my body.

listening: I'm really loving Kings of Leon (the old stuff) and getting excited about going to see the Foo Fighters in a couple of weeks (!!!).

reminiscing: about my trip to Europe at the end of 2014. And missing everyone I met over there! hoping: to find a new job I'm in love with (finding a job as a new graduate nurse is hard!)

wanting: summer to act properly. It's the middle of summer, but here in Melbourne, you wouldn't know.

looking forward to: getting a new blog design up and running and being more active with my blogging.

2015, A New Year

I love creating a long list of goals, even if I never get through the whole list, it's nice to have something to work towards. New Years Day is the obvious choice to make a long list of goals and you have a whole year to work towards them. This year however, I have chosen to make only one goal:

To make a beautifully colourful, decorated and delightful year.

I have always had everything planned out in my life, always had a purpose, something I was working toward. This is my first year where I literally have no plans, and literally have no idea what my year will be. That's why I opted for a really simple goal, something I could achieve no matter what happens this year.

Have you made a long list of goals or do you have a couple of simple ones like me?

Ps. It's been a year since my last post. That's not too long right.... :)

Big News

Guess what? I have some very big news!

You may or may not have noticed that I added a new link to the side of my blog entitled "Shop". Well, that's because I have opened a little online store where I sell cute vintage, or vintage inspired clothing I come across. Eventually I will also be selling homewares and all sorts, but I decided to start out just doing clothing.

There isn't a whole heap of products up at the moment as I've been super dooper busy, but I am adding as frequently as I can!

Feel free to go and have a look see for yourself and please let me know what you think! I'd love to hear some feedback!

Spring Goals

Side note: it is really freaking hard trying to take a photo of yourself with a heavy dslr and 35mm fixed lens.

1. Spend as much time as possible outside.
It was sunny the other day and I sat outside for most of the day and realised how happy being outside makes me.

2. Photos, photos, photos!
Take more photos of all the beautiful things Spring brings. Wow, that was a mouthful!

3. Finish my second year of uni.
That's hardly something I don't plan of doing anyway, but I like to have these little reminders.

4. Go on a road trip with my sister.
We're planning on taking a road trip up to Bendigo for some opshopping and cake eating soon! I will definitely take my camera and do a little post of our trip!

5. Go hunting for Spring pretties.
Spring brings some of the most beautiful aspects of nature out for us to witness and I would love to find me some of them!

6. Find the perfect 1920's dress.
I am going to my uni's ball soon and it's 1920's themed, so I have to find a dress!

7. Have yet another birthday.
I know I am far too young to say that I've had a lot of birthdays, but I really don't like my birthday so it feels like I have. So this year I am going to try and enjoy my birthday for once! Although I haven't figured out how to do that. Any suggestions?

8. Start planning, making and buying Christmas presents.
Spring ends at the end of November, so it's not too early to be thinking about Christmas, right???

Do you have any plans for this beautiful season???

Jam And Cream

Last week my sister took me to one of her favourite cafes, Jam And Cream! It has become one of my favourite places and I'll be going again soon! I honestly came close to tears when I ate their scones, they were sooooo good! They also have the cutest vintage decor!!! Some of their delicious food. Unfortunately I didn't get any photos of what we ate because the minute it hit the table, we devoured it before even thinking about taking a photo. Their pretty counter filled with beautiful things! Some beautiful flowers sitting on our table. Beautiful vintage teacups and saucers! Even their floor is pretty!!!! My pretty sister! Out the back of the cafe, they have a pink vintage trailer! You can even sit in it and eat your afternoon tea! More gorgeous flower centrepieces! It was so wonderful, I definitely hope to go back real soon! Do you have any favourite cute cafes??
