Big News

Guess what? I have some very big news!

You may or may not have noticed that I added a new link to the side of my blog entitled "Shop". Well, that's because I have opened a little online store where I sell cute vintage, or vintage inspired clothing I come across. Eventually I will also be selling homewares and all sorts, but I decided to start out just doing clothing.

There isn't a whole heap of products up at the moment as I've been super dooper busy, but I am adding as frequently as I can!

Feel free to go and have a look see for yourself and please let me know what you think! I'd love to hear some feedback!

Spring Goals

Side note: it is really freaking hard trying to take a photo of yourself with a heavy dslr and 35mm fixed lens.

1. Spend as much time as possible outside.
It was sunny the other day and I sat outside for most of the day and realised how happy being outside makes me.

2. Photos, photos, photos!
Take more photos of all the beautiful things Spring brings. Wow, that was a mouthful!

3. Finish my second year of uni.
That's hardly something I don't plan of doing anyway, but I like to have these little reminders.

4. Go on a road trip with my sister.
We're planning on taking a road trip up to Bendigo for some opshopping and cake eating soon! I will definitely take my camera and do a little post of our trip!

5. Go hunting for Spring pretties.
Spring brings some of the most beautiful aspects of nature out for us to witness and I would love to find me some of them!

6. Find the perfect 1920's dress.
I am going to my uni's ball soon and it's 1920's themed, so I have to find a dress!

7. Have yet another birthday.
I know I am far too young to say that I've had a lot of birthdays, but I really don't like my birthday so it feels like I have. So this year I am going to try and enjoy my birthday for once! Although I haven't figured out how to do that. Any suggestions?

8. Start planning, making and buying Christmas presents.
Spring ends at the end of November, so it's not too early to be thinking about Christmas, right???

Do you have any plans for this beautiful season???

Jam And Cream

Last week my sister took me to one of her favourite cafes, Jam And Cream! It has become one of my favourite places and I'll be going again soon! I honestly came close to tears when I ate their scones, they were sooooo good! They also have the cutest vintage decor!!! Some of their delicious food. Unfortunately I didn't get any photos of what we ate because the minute it hit the table, we devoured it before even thinking about taking a photo. Their pretty counter filled with beautiful things! Some beautiful flowers sitting on our table. Beautiful vintage teacups and saucers! Even their floor is pretty!!!! My pretty sister! Out the back of the cafe, they have a pink vintage trailer! You can even sit in it and eat your afternoon tea! More gorgeous flower centrepieces! It was so wonderful, I definitely hope to go back real soon! Do you have any favourite cute cafes??

Just A Little Change

You may have noticed, or maybe not since I have no idea if anyone is still following my blog, that my blog has changed a wee bit. Well, I decided that I had had enough of Madness And I and that it was time for a change. It also has to do with a big project I am working on, which I will blog about soon.

Bye bye Madness And I, and I look forward to whatever may come with Lola And Joy.

Percy Boy

I love my little nephew. Is it normal to love your nephew (or niece) this much? Well I don't care, because mine is the cutest that ever existed. Today he is 10 months old and just getting cuter by the minute!

The other day my sister, her husband and their little boy came over for breakfast and we all had lots of fun crawling around with Percy.

Percy also likes to help his mum and grandmother in the kitchen!

Recent Baking Adventures!

I really love baking (and eating the baked products, of course) but I don't always have the time, or the patience, or the effort to bake. Recently though I've done a bit of baking! Here are some things I've made lately.

I made these raspberry and coconut tarts from Oh So Lovely Vintage. They were suuuper easy to make and no one noticed the fact that mine were a little bit browner than Erin's! Despite slightly over-baking, they were a huuuge crowd pleaser.

Last week it was my brother-in-law's birthday and he loves peanut butter goods so I made him these peanut butter chocolate chip blondies. Mine don't look quite the same, but that's because I'm dorky and like to write people's name with food. I think he liked em!

Have you baked anything yummy lately? I'd love to here about it!

PS. Sorry for the dodgy photos. I am relying on iPhone pics at the moment!

Vintage Button Swap!

I wanted to quickly pop in a share with you something I am very excited about at the moment!!

Tarryn from Butter And Buntings is hosting a vintage button swap where you send your swap partner a selection of cute vintage buttons! I think it is the cutest idea and can't wait till we get our swap partners!

There's still some time to sign up if you would like to, but not much!! You can have a little look-see here if you'd like to.

Do you love participating in swaps as much as me??

Favourite Thailand Finds

A few weeks ago I posted about my trip to Thailand and talked about the amazing time that I had there. Well now I thought I'd show you some of the amazing things I bought there. Seriously, if you didn't know it, Bangkok is one of the most amazing places to shop for clothing. This is only a very small percentage of what I bought there!!!
This gorgeous red vintage dress with the cutest collar. It has a a-line skirt when on!

Cute brown spotted dress.

Another red spotted beauty!

I love this dress. It has such a cute bright orange print and a really cute huge collar. I don't usually wear this colour or collars this big, but I love it and I have worn it many times already.

Cute brown floral vintage dress!

I love this dress! It has a really big circular skirt and I love the colours. It was designed and made by this cute Thai girl that she was selling at a market for a really good price!

Another cute brown dress with spots!

I love this bag!!!! I have a huge thing for bows and spots, and the colour is gorgeous too!

Another cute bag. In real life it's a bit more of a teal colour, not quite as blue.

Spots! Aargh!!

Cute bag with such a cute design. I loved the colour combo!

And yet another adorable bag.
I had such an awesome time shopping, and can't wait to go back!!!
